Blue Moon Stables is located on 150 acres of secluded peaceful land. The barn itself has 20 stalls and is up on a slight hill. Just down the back of the barn there are the paddocks, full of lush grass. There are 23 paddocks total, and they are on a rotation so that none get over used.
There are 4 separate riding arenas. The large indoor which is connected to the barn is divided by a wall, that is 4 ft tall. On one side is a standard size dressage ring with letters and mirrors, and on the other side is a jumping arena. Both sides have a low dust sand and rubber mixture and are dragged and watered once a week as necessary. There is an outdoor jumping arena with a race track sand and it is watered every other week and drug. Then there is a standard size dressage arena outside. It has a low white barrier with the letters and a stone dust sand mixture.
There is also a 4 mile cross country course, with many types of different jump from logs to water you have to gallop through that is 2 ft deep.
There are also stable hands that help to maintain the beauty of this dressage and jumper stables.
The Stable Workers
Jose
Grounds Keeper
About: Jose is a smaller puerto rican man. Very good worker and fun to be around, always has something to make you laugh. Loves to travel around the stables on the gator and fix things where they need fixing and maintains the X-country course.
Adam
Stable Hand
About: Adam is an 18 year old kid. Keeps the stable clean, mucks stalls. Hard worker, but keeps to himself but does his job well, usually hauls the hay from the farmer to the stable storage area and unloads and makes sure the stables have everything they need. He also helps Kiera with feeding and turning the hourse in and out and maintains the arenas.
(Kiera thinks he has a crush on her)
